Elder Care in Kent, Washington

I am very passionate about what I do. I have 7 years experience providing care to the elderly population. I started providing care when my father in law was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. We attempted seeking care for him in an assisted living facility, but after some unexplained injuries I decided the best thing for our family was to bring him home and care for himself myself. I obtained my HCA (Homecare Aide) certification in 2015 and have recently finished coursework for my CNA. I have passed both my written and skills exam's for my state certification, as well as mailing in my application. I now await for the state to process my application and issue my CNA. I am currently taking courses to gain my Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Nurse Delegation. I have experience working with Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Cancer patients, Heart failure and Kidney failure. I have provided end of life care as well as hospice care.
