Elder Care Job in Antioch, California

We are a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) in Antioch looking for someone to provide personal assistance, direct care and supervision of senior residents who are both ambulatory and non-ambulatory and who may have some degree of memory loss/dementia. We are licensed for 24/7 care of up to six residents. Qualifications: *Previous experience working with seniors preferred. CNA license a plus, but not required. *Must be enthusiastic, compassionate, loving and kind and bring a positive attitude to the job. *Willing to demonstrate patience, understanding and respect for the elderly. *Ability to work as a team player and effectively communicate with co-workers, residents and families. Job Description: *Assist clients with daily living activities (dressing, toileting, personal hygiene and grooming) *Change bedding and linens, as needed *Provide safe transfer techniques (walking, wheelchair or walker) *Light housekeeping and cooking of homemade meals Immediate opening(s).
