My name is Michelle and I am an experienced caregiver. I have sat with an elderly female with slight dementia who needed help with her daily living activities. I administered her medicines, cooked her meals, helped with bathing and worked with her on her physical therapy and her memory exercises. I currently sit with a 51 year old female who is wheelchair bound. I have helped her get started in (modified) yoga to help strengthen her core and help her flexibility so that she can stay active. I assist her with her trips outside the home like church, shopping and Doctors appointments. I also travel on vacation with her and her family to help her. I do have some experience in a nursing facility setting as well. I try and treat people with the same dignity and respect that I would want for myself or a member of my family.
