Elder Care in Waterdown, Ontario

While most of my history is working with children, I am ready for a change and interested in becoming a companion and/or helper for seniors and elderly. After witnessing and caring for two of my elderly grandmothers, one post- neck surgery, I realized how much the help is needed, appreciated and what a difference to their lives I made. I live for helping others and making others happy is what is so satisfying with this job and why I would love to do more. While caring for my elderly grandmothers I have done everything from meal prep, to house keeping, errands, doctor visits and personal bathing care. I enjoyed helping them very much and sitting with a cup of tea and chatting was what I realized was what meant more to them then anything.
