Good evening, my name is Amelia and it's nice to meet you. To tell you alittle of myself I've been a Caregiver for the most part of my life and have cared for the elderly as I have for both my own parents. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly and it has always been More than just a job for me. I've often said how one day we will all wish for the same compassion one day.. My experience consists of taking care of those with dementia, heart failure, stroke, cancer, and sometimes just for much needed friendship and companionship. My duties have also been varied and multi- tasked throughout the years, such as giving proper on time meds, washing/dressing, changing foleys If and when needed, taking care of and changing bed-ridden patients, cooking, ordering medicare supplies if needed, and any troubleshooting that may arise. I have also had years of experience in hospice care. Unless otherwise discussed I am available most days and holidays, if needed. Early afternoons until early evenings are preferred yet can be discussed.
