I'm Jenn Kessler. In 2008 I was blessed with a rare spiritual opportunity of becoming an elder care provider for my Mother and it completely changed my life. As I helped her I realized that she was able to continue to thrive through me, and it taught me the true meaning of love, a first time experience for me. From Mom I learned about dementia behaviors, how gluten causes bowel disruptions, how crucial it is to possess the ability and desire to calm, soothe when needed and genuine attentiveness are. Mom is now home with our Lord. This blessing was full of hard work, intense devotion and rich in satisfaction. It was the hardest thing I've ever done (as I never had any break from it for six years) but it was also the very best thing I ever did in my life. I'm 63 years of age now and that desire to pamper and assist is still strong. I'm a 33 year diabetic and very comfortable with giving and receiving injections.
