Elder Care in Saugerties, New York
Hi there my name is Jennifer. I am an elder care provider who recently moved to Maine from upstate New York. I have experience working in an assisted care facility in the memory care unit; working with a high net worth octagenarian Dartmouth alumnus in his private home, also as a geriatric yoga trainer, and companion to sporting events. I took the BOCES training in Kingston, N.Y. and was certified in New York as a nursing assistant, although I shortly thereafter moved to Hanover, N.H. where I worked for Ascentria (formerly Lutheran Social Services) caring for a man with multiple health issues and a service dog, for one year. I also worked for a high net worth family in private care. Then I moved to China to teach for a year and volunteered at an orphanage. My job as a content creator is ending due to my employer's retirement; I am being paid through June. I recently finished a wholesome novella titled The Revealed Truths of Olin J. Stephens II, about a naval architect I knew slightly who lived to be 100. I recently helped a friend who was having a health issue. I grew up around the life insurance business and am truly interested in what the elderly offer and am articulate, reliable, and compassionate. I can cook, clean, grocery shop, drive to medical appointments, and help with creative and organizational projects. I can speak and understand French and Italian at an advanced beginner level, and I am extremely polite, resourceful, well-dressed, cheerful, and reliable. I have additional references and am no-drama and no gossip. I do work as a writer but I set my own hours. I no longer have an eBay store but I can help a client set up theirs and write beautiful listings and assist with the packaging and sales process. I am excellent with all animals and have special training on working with service dogs. I understand many people are allergic to scent and do not need to wear fragrance. I will focus 100 percent on the job at hand, I am not a phone addict at all. I have a clean background in every possible way.
