Dear Sir/Madam: A pleasant Day! I am delighted and interested in the Caregiver job in Canada where I can utilize my extensive skills and knowledge in the elderly care. About my education: I have obtained a certificate of completion of the Professional Caregiver Skills Development Program at Calamba Doctor’s Medical, Educational and Science Foundation, Inc., with excellent school and On-the-Job Training grades. I also got Certificate in Standard First Aid (SFA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) based on programs of the Red Cross. About my experience: For the last 8 years, I am working in Israel as a live-in caregiver with a working permit. Currently, I am taking care of 93 year old. , has Parkinson, Dementia, difficulty in walking and hearing Impairment. I am providing a complete care and companionship for him. Though I also cook and do errands, my first priority is to ensure he is feeling well. I am well equipped in working for both Nursing and Residential Care as I attained a high standard of training here in Israel. My extensive knowledge and experience enable me to provide excellent care for elderly with early to late stages of dementia and other challenging behavior. I provide personal care like support by bathing, dressing, grooming. I also do haircuts. I always try to provide moral support to the patient, involve him/her into conversation, so that the patient does not feel depressed or lonely. My other duties: cooking, meal preparation; grocery shopping; light housekeeping; laundry and change of bed linens; medicine administration, set appointments to the doctors. About my personality: Among my qualities as a person are: Efficient and compassionate health provider, hardworking mother and who got sensitive to other, my strengths are my ability to be flexible, open minded and always willing to learn new ideas and suggestions, excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills and detail oriented. I have an excellent health and physical dexterity. My hobbies are cooking Oriental food, a little bit of European food and Mediterranean Food, and also swimming, biking, dancing and playing badminton. I chose this path, because I want to help those who can't help themselves. I want to be a servant to the people who need care and assistance, to give them love and share optimism. My education, trainings and my work experiences in handling elderly, have all served to help make highly effective what I do.
