Nice to meet you! My name is Sheena. I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I have recently moved to Florida this past January. I live in the Deltona/DeLand area. I absolutely love it down here! I love working with people. I love getting to know families, and I enjoy helping to care for your loved ones. I have previously worked full-time as a HHA. I also have part-time live-in care experience! With each of my families, I've built trust, relationships, and bonds as if they were my own my family. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my patients, as well their families, to make them a part of my family. I have personal long-term (7yrs) experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia. In my early 20's, my grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia and we took her in. I was her primary caregiver. She required assistance with bathing, getting dressed, & meal planning and preparation. After awhile she also became incontinent. I also have experience with (but not limited to) Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes, Patients on Blood Thinners, High Blood Pressure/Cholesterol, Patients with Heart Conditions (Bipass, Artificial Valve Replacement), Gangrene, Seizure Conditions, Neuropathy, Uses a Walking Aide (Cane, Walker, Wheelchair, etc.), Medication Management, MS, Parkinson's, Dietary Restrictions I do have a valid driver's license and an up-to-date insurance policy.
