Elder Care in Corpus Christi, Texas

Hello I'm a patient, dependable, and adaptable person. I have been working as a caregiver ages 50-90 for a couple of months now. I am observant, emphatic, time managing and want to continue being a caregiver. Since elementary school I have helped family with their children and with my siblings. I know working with the elderly is quite different, but I want to express the patience, alertness, and multi-tasking I possess. I am seeking full-time and live-in. I am considering not a live- in, but where my services are needed will have to be in or close to Calallen area. I also want to express that I am certified in CPR/ AED/ First Aid, but i am not a certified nurse. I am still employed at the facility that has given me the caregiving experience, which I am also in training for a Med Aide, but the salary is not helpful to me financially while Im trying to establish myself. I also do not own my own vehicle and will be working on getting my license. For a not live- in situation; this does not make me unreliable, I have never had any inexcusable days missed and have never been late to any of my past jobs. I know the importance of being a caregiver and being on- call. If you are to consider my employment, please be aware that I have to give a two weeks notice at my current job, or at least speak with my supervisor on how my departure can be arranged for a new hire. I am new to this self employment, therefore I want to have a clear understanding about obtaining a W2 on taxes with my employer.
