My name is Ellen Belizaire, I am a dedicated and loving caregiver. I have been rooted in Care and Service my whole life. I came to Calgary almost 7 years now, from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. I have studied and received training in caregiving here in Calgary, I have a Diploma in Human and Community Support Services, and a Diploma in Medical Office Administration. I am also certified in First Aid, CPR, and Alberta Health and Privacy act.. My experience and training covers; Personal care, Medication Administration based on instructions, Food preparation and Housekeeping, Companionship, Obseving and Recording any changes, and Laughter. I also have over 5 years of experience in the food and hospitality industry and a lifetime of people skills. I am a single mom and my kids are 20 and 18 respectively. At present, I am seeking an LMIA in order to work fulltime. I have studied for the past 6 years here in Calgary, but I do not have my Permanant Residency yet. I have the experience and qualification as a great caregiver and always willing to go the extra mile for my clients and their family. This is my career and I am in it for long-term. I have lived at the same address here in Glenbrook SW, Calgary for the last 5 years and I am stable in my lifestyle. My approach as a caregiver is to always ensure that my client's welfare is priority and to give their family a peace of mind, by providing a safe, comfortable, clean and trustworthy environment. As if they were my own parents. I took care of all of their needs until they passed a few years ago. I always honour my clients as I have my parents. I am a great motivator and I listen from the heart and I take my time to help my clients prepare for the day, including them in every decision and supporting them to be independent.
