Elder Care in Kanata, Ontario

My name is Dominique. I am a university student with a passion for health care. I am looking to either go to medical school to become a geriatrician or pursue a PhD in the implications that the increasing elderly population will have on our health care system. I have two little brothers that are the love of my life. I am able to speak French. My French writing, reading and grammar are good up to a high school level. I have gone to church all my life (my father is a minister) where most of the congregation was elderly. This means I have spent considerable time interacting with adults and elderly individuals. Through this I have learned that most stereotypes associated with the elderly are untrue. I do not have any experience caring for adults but I am a fast learner and I am willing to try new things.
