Most likely, you are reading this because either you or someone you care for has reached a point -- either because of normal aging, acute medical problems, loss of a spouse, or a combination of these and other difficulties -- where they require some level of assistance with certain everyday tasks. Locating a competent and caring person who is willing to step in and confidently attend to these needs with kindness, empathy and consideration for your special circumstances can be a daunting, difficult and stressful experience. I offer my services, as a 19-year veteran of the trade, to help make this task easier for everyone involved. It takes the full commitment and cooperation of all participants - the person in need, their family, and the caregiver - to achieve a successful assisted living transition. MY SERVICES There are a wide variety of services available, and may be tailored to meet your specific needs. This list is just a sample of the kind of support I most frequently provide. The goal is to provide companionship and services that allow those in need to feel safe and independent while they remain at home - where they feel most comfortable. COMPANIONSHIP 1. Preparation of medication schedule; 2 Blood pressure readings, temp, weight; 3. Record of food consumption and elimination; 4. Consultation with personal physician and/or nurse; 5. Incontinent care; 6. Order and pick up meds; 7. Regular exercise program even when bedridden. FEES The final schedule of responsibilities will incorporate input from all concerned parties, the client, family members and myself. My fee is commensurate with the level and amount of responsibility required, starting at $15 per hour.
