Elder Care in Smartsville, California

I'm moving to the Sedona area this Fall to be near Family. I am looking for a position in the home of the person I am caring for. I have my own vehicle and will be a permanent resident of the Sedona area. I have been an Elder Care provider on and off for the past 20 years, beginning with my Mother, for whom I moved down from Alaska to care for until her passing. (Prior to that time, I came down to CA to care for my Father because he wanted to come home from the hospital to spend his final days.) After my Mother's passing, I began caring for another lovely gentleman in the area for the following 2 years until his passing, then another lovely woman who has since passed. (I have excellent references from the daughters of these two wonderful people.) I am caring & attentive and love to spend quality time with those in my care. I'm happy to play cards & games with them, play piano/organ to, read to them, go to functions with them, take them to their Dr. appts, and go shopping with them. If they are ambulatory, I make a good walking partner as well! If they love gardening, I love plants, flowers & all types of gardens. Do they love pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles)? I'm their gal! Crocheting or knitting? Love it! I'm also a good cook and am well versed in giving MEDS (although I do not have a nursing degree). As I cared for both my Mom & Dad when they became bedridden, I can also care for bedridden patients in a caring and loving way.....bathing, changing "diapers" if needed & fixing hair if desired. I provide all of my services with love, respect & the dignity all of us need at these times in our lives. You can always rely on me to be with your Loved One when you can't be & I would be honored to attend to their every need.
