My name is Amy, and I want you to know that I truly enjoy spending time with and being able to help the elderly! As a child, I was thrilled to hear my mother say that we would be visiting the nursing home! I have so many cherished memories from my visits there. Our church sponsored a 'giving tree' at Christmastime with the residents' names written on cards that hung on the tree, indicating a small gift they would like to receive. I will never forget the way their eyes lit up with joy and excitement when I arrived! Many of them rarely had visitors at all, and it meant so much to them just to see me there. My mother and I continued to visit at least once a month for many years. Those days brought me so many smiles, taught me an abundance of lessons, gifted me with a vast amount of knowledge, and granted me the greatest rewards in love! They also helped me become the person I am today. Findng someone that is completely devoted to providing the best care for the person that you cherish most is a very important and difficult thing to do. I want you to know that I am a trustworthy, warm hearted, kind, caring and sincere person.
