Elder Care in Rocky View County, Alberta

I'm an
Individual
I just recently passed all the qualifications to earn the title of a fully Licensed Practical Nurse here in Alberta. I’m a registered nurse (RN) in the Philippines and in Saudi Arabia. I’ve been into practice since 2010 and stopped when I came here in Canada last 2014. I worked hard and did all the necessary assessments, exams, and other documentation to finally be a licensed practical nurse. Now that I’m already registered, I really want to start and be back into nursing field as soon as I can. I worked in a hospital in Saudi Arabia for a year and was assigned to different areas mainly in the out patient department such as: GP (General Practitioner) clinics, dental, EENT, dermatology, physiotherapy and ER department. My exposure to different areas gave me a lot of experience and enabled me to learn new sets of knowledge and skills in that short period of time. It also shows my flexibility and high adaptability in terms of changing work conditions. I’m a very hard working person and highly trainable. In addition, I can be really creative and resourceful as well as very independent. I give my full commitment to work for my own professional growth and to be able to contribute positively not just to the company but also with my colleagues and clients. I have a current CPR/BLS Provider Certificate as well as recent police check. I’m currently taking some online courses through the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta to update and improve my nursing skills and abilities to date. Additionally, I’m also enrolled and scheduled to take my LPN Specialization for Immunization. My nursing abilities that I’ve gained through the years of being a registered nurse as well as being a student nurse gave me such confidence in providing high quality and effective nursing care. My strong initiative, excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with my ability to work under pressure will allow me to play a crucial role in a fast-paced and patient-centered environment. Furthermore, with a history of success contributing to the healthcare community, patients, and their families, I believe that I will immediately make a great impact if given the chance. A relationship with your family would be mutually beneficial, as I am seeking a challenging work environment where I can utilize my skills to the fullest extent. This is such a great opportunity for me that I don’t want to waste. Resume and references will be provided upon request. I’m looking forward to hear from you. Sincerely, Regi Rose R. Cruz, LPN
