I give my highest recommendation for Charlene Phung. My mother recently passed away from Lung Cancer. We hired Charlene as an independent caregiver to run day time operations for my mother who elected for Hospice in home care. Charlene jumped in with both feet and took incredible initiative. She dealt daily with over a dozen complex medications. She developed daily logs, administrative folders, and medication logs. She communicated daily with family members as well as Hospice RNs and CNAs. Her follow through and attention to detail was amazing. In addition to those operation duties, and more importantly, Charlene was an incredible caregiver. She was very adept at listening to the patient, both verbal and non-verbal communication, and developed an incredible bond with my mother. Charlene was caring yet firm when she had to be with instructions and caregiving. AS you know, trust is one of the most important factors when having caregivers in a loved one's home. Charlene was always on time, willing to pitch in to any task, and stayed when needed for extra duty. She earned our complete trust. Charlene has a special gift. She is loving, compassionate, good listener, advocates for her patient and is very positive and friendly. I can think of no one better to recommend for a caregiver position!
