Elder Care in Acton, Ontario

- I can take care of toddlers and adults because I have 2-year experience on being a nanny. The best example is I can clean up after the children, including making their beds, doing their laundry, and picking up their belongings. I also know how to prepare and make their meals. I am capable to help them with their homework assignments and projects because I used to be a tutor for my nieces and nephews. I do not have a specific preference for one age group over another. - I enjoy caring for children of all ages, and I feel I have enough expertise to care for children of all ages efficiently. However, I have the most experience with children between the ages of 0-2 and 3-8. - I am available to go through all the processes anytime. - I realize that in looking after someone else’s children, I am being trusted to care for someone precious to them. For me, that means that safety is number one. I can keep the children safe and healthy, and if anything should happen, I have the judgment to take the appropriate actions quickly. I can be 100% engaged. I can put away my phone, get down on the floor with the kiddos, and give all of my focus to them. - I feel that I am a highly approachable individual, which makes it easy for children and adults to reach out to me. Also, I am competent in looking after children of all ages, and personalities. Specifically, I am well-versed in handling children’s emotional issues and have even worked with children with special needs. - I know how to cook and do all the house chores at the same time.
