Elder Care in Toronto, Ontario

I\'m a graduate of Computer Science in my country, and when I get the chance to pursue my career in Canada I took the Personal Support Worker program which is out of my league. Ever since I was a little girl it was my dream to be a Nurse, but unfortunately my family cannot afford the high tuition fee of that kind of program. However, my passion in helping other people didn\'t change even though I took a different path. I enjoyed the time I spent at my placement, because I got the chance to work with different kinds of people and with elderly whose facing a different aspects and challenges in their lives. It taught me of something: that no matter how difficulties you are facing in life, life must go on and we have to keep on striving for it and do good deeds to make it worthwhile. I've had experience with a quadriplegic patient. They types of care I provided are the following: * Provided a morning care such as: bathing and personal grooming * Assisted clients' in taking medication * Prepared healthy meals for the client or make as what the client wants to eat * Assisted the client in his personal needs using the proper transferring machines and equipment
