Elder Care in Chase, British Columbia

I am Rosy Adhikari, 28th years old lady. I am from Dhobighat, Lalitpur, Nepal. I belong to middle class family. My father is service holder and my mother is housewife. She is the one who inspired me to pursue my career in nursing field as she is devoted in social work. I have passed my School Leaving Certificate from English boarding school with first division, in school level I have studied health and science subject which made me curious about human health system. To get admission in proficiency certificate level nursing, entrance examination is compulsory. Nursing curriculum comprised of Fundamental of Nursing, Applied Science, Adult and Child Nursing, Midwifery and English. As a student I have done clinical practicum in various areas like Midwifery Hospital, Child Hospital, Community Visit and Health post duty and have done adult patient care as well. I have obtained first division in Nursing. After completion of my education and getting licensed of Registered Nurse I started working in hospital, I have got exposure of Various department like General ward, Operation Theatre, Post- Operative Ward, Intensive Care Unit and Orthopedic Ward. My area of interest is ICU, as patient over there are very sick. They are fighting for survival. By caring them, I got inner satisfaction. When patient get recovered from very critical, life threatening condition, it will be like moment to cherish. But currently I am working in Orthopedic Department where I have to deal with 20 – 30 patients daily.
