I am a dedicated and compassionate caregiver with a healthcare background. I have resided in Calgary for more than two years. As a caregiver, I have developed a deep understanding of the needs of those with disabilities, continually striving to provide the highest level of care and support. In addition, I am a Registered Nurse with over five years of experience, earned while living in the Philippines. As a reliable professional, I prioritize the comfort and safety of clients. I am incredibly organized and efficient, adept at managing multiple tasks. Specifically, I excel at patient care, mobility assistance, and daily living support. In my most recent position, I provided specialized care to individuals with special needs. This included a young woman with Cerebral Palsy who is non-verbal and wheelchair-bound. My responsibilities consisted of bathing assistance, dressing and grooming help, toileting aid, and preparing and cooking blended nutritional meals. Additionally, I assisted with feeding. It brings me great joy to work with people, particularly the elderly. I pride myself on being caring and patient. Apart from this, I am comfortable with pets, and I own a delightful dog. I can offer either full-time or part-time caregiving services for seniors and disabled individuals, as a live-out caregiver.
