Elder Care in Peterborough, Ontario

I am passionate about providing services to individuals that would improve their quality of life as well as their overall health. I have been providing private home care for the past 3 years. I specialize in working with individuals with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. For my college placement I worked in a long-term care facility running programs as well as providing specialized programs geared towards improving cognitive and motor functioning in seniors. Some of the job duties I have performed are complete personal hygiene care, cooking, cleaning, distributing medication, providing programs and exercise, pick up groceries and essentials, drive clients to appointments and adult day centers.
