I am pleased to offer this letter of reference for Caroline A who is employed at L’Arche Comox Valley in the capacity of casual support, at Jubilee House which is a VIHA (Vancouver Island Health Authority) licensed facility where 4 residents with developmental disabilities live. She also is volunteering supporting the team and clients at the I Belong Center. She is an employee starting January 2020 till present. Her duties include personal care as well as supporting people to have the highest quality of life. She has come to our community from Ireland where she worked in elder care. She demonstrated excellent observation skills, and is able to follow direction and accept feedback. She is both hard working and compassionate. She is respectful, and shows enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to her work. She is able to provide supports to the clients in a professional manner. She takes initiatives where it is appropriate and also is able to problem solve while seeking out the supports needed to accomplish her role. She is able to work individually but also within a team.
