Hello my name is Art, a Filipino Personal Support Worker. I have 7 years experience working in the community as a caregiver taking care of elderly people in their homes. I consider myself responsible, hardworking, compassionate, respectful and proficient in doing my task and responsibilities in helping and assisting my clients in the activities of daily living as well as ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. I am flexible and committed in my job and can work efficiently without supervision. At present, I am still working in an Agency but I would like to have a full time, long term or short term job working in a private homes. As a Personal Support Worker, my duties and responsibilities in caring seniors includes helping the clients in the activities of daily living, such as preparing meals, personal care, assisting with bath and good grooming, taking them out for a walk, light exercise, transfer from bed to wheelchair, positioning, and most of all is to make sure my client is taking their prescribed medication on time.
