Elder Care in Ottawa, Ontario

Hello! I am a 4th year nursing student looking for some extra work to help pay tuition. I have had several clinical experiences working with patients, some in retirement homes, others in post-op units of the hospital as well as mental health settings. I am CPR and First aid certified and am a reliable and caring individual and would love to help out however I can. I am able to help with the very basics such as housework and groceries but am also able and willing to help with more complex care for patients requiring more support. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, Melissa I completed a clinical rotation as a nursing student at the Perley-Rideau Veterans Centre caring for elderly patients. I am able to complete tasks such as transfers, assisting with personal hygiene, and feeding. I also worked in a retirement home as a personal support worker for a couple of months and completed tasks as listed above.
