A I'm Kim a registered nurse from the Philippines,I'm currently here in Calgary, Alberta.
I have 5 months hospital experience, with different nursing responsibilities per areas,I'm rotated in different areas like:
Female medical ward,
Emergency Room
Out Patient Dept; and
Pediatric Ward
I am also employed for 3 years in a polyclinic in the Philippines, assigned in different areas.
i have handled many adult (Male and Female) patients when i was working in the hospital and clinic in the Philippines. most of them had Hypertension, Diabetes, Pulmonary problems,Dementia, Disabilities,and Needs emotional support.
As a nurse i just follow the Doctors order, what is needed to be done. and make sure that the patient is comfortable in a state that she will never felt H/She is in the hospital. Establishing Rapport is one of our Duties which I do not experience having trouble.
