I am a passionate caregiver who's given up 20yrs as a welder to follow my heart & calling to dedicate my life to the service of others. After losing my entire family its what I felt I needed to do & has been the best experience of my life. I graduated with honours while working as a live in caregiver. I love working to help people stay in their own homes instead of going to a facility & I'm planning on taking the Therapeutic Recreation course & hope to eventually specialize in canine/equine therapy for people with down syndrome & autism. Homecare is my passion right now because I love assisting people to stay in their own environment & comfort zone & I love that it affords me more time with the individual to build a solid working relationship & to provide the best care possible. This whole experience has changed my life for the better & has made me a better man, now I'm hoping to use my situation to do the same for others.
