Ga. and still living here presently. I've been in customer service and restaurant business all my life. In between I've worked in a couple of doctor's offices, but sitting behind a desk with a phone glued to my ear just isn't my cup of tea.I really enjoy talking to people and making them laugh. I'm a very caring person I enjoy helping people that need help doing the everyday things that some of us tend to take for granted. When I was 8 years old my Mom had my little brother who is down syndrome. I just felt this natural overwhelming sense that I wanted to protect, care for and teach him everything I could,and I did just that. I taught him 15 words in a month, taught him to sit up on his own and to crawI and that was a great accomplishment for both of us.I was responsible enough and trusted by my Mom at 8yrs old to make sure he receive the proper doses of his two heart medications, because he had a hole in the middle of his heart. And plus I would stand on a chair and make him scrambled eggs on certain mornings. And it wasn't that my Mom just left me to take care of him. I just really loved caring for and protecting someone who can't defend themselves. Who happens to be my brother. Whenever I get the chance to give someone any type of happiness whether it be cooking for them (which I happened to be very good at.) Running errands, taking them to the grocery store doing their laundry, talking with them, giving them a manicure, I'm also a licensed Nail tech in Fla. making sure they are clean and taken care of. Makes me a happy lady. And by the way my Mom was a single mother trying to raise 3 kids on her own one of which was down syndrome which was a challenge in it self, and I was only 12 years old, but I knew she needed my help with him and of course so she could work. My older brother was never home. And if that wasn't enough stress on my Mom, My grandparents got where they couldn't live in.their own place by themselves so my mom moved them in with us. And I would cook and take care of the house and make sure my grandpa didn't fall, because he had Parkinson disease, and my grandma had emphysema. And help my nana with her personal hygiene since she had intestinal cancer that she had to endure, and she would cry because she was embarrassed but I really didn't mind. I love and miss my Nana very much guess you could say I had to grow up fast But I'm glad because it made me a very strong, caring and self sufficient woman. I'm 45 years old now I'm a grandmother to 3 beautiful grandchildren and I'm married 13 years to my best friend.I just would like to be able to help out with the finances and have a little pocket money. I have a huge heart my kids are all grown and on their own. So if you give me a chance I could really be a genuine fun companion (friend) that you would ever want to meet.
