Elder Care in Silver Spring, Maryland

I retired in 2020 from nursing but my license is still active. The paperwork involved in the nursing field became just too much for me after so many years. I have always enjoyed interacting with our geriatric population. I am able to help with all ADLs, medication reminders, driving to appointments and just keeping them company. I love to cook and don't mind meal preparation. Because of my medical background, I am comfortable helping with managing diabetics (finger sticks and insulin injections) and can also provide wound care and bandage changing. I only want to work part time and can be flexible with days and hours. Though I prefer not to work on weekends, I would consider an occasional weekend day. I have my own newer car for transportation. I am extremely reliable, always on time and would never miss work without advance notice.
