Personal Profile: Nice to meet you! My name is Michelle. My experience includes being a Nursing Assistant in Psychiatric unit (ROU and PY3N), a Nursing Assistant in NICU, and a Health Care Aide in adult emergency and medicine unit. Being exposed to different types of patient had helped me develop my personality and work approaches. I did my “Health Unit Clerk” practicum at the surgery unit. My experienced as unit clerk in a very busy ward have developed myself to learn more about clerking job. I am introduced to lots of learning while on the desk (managing paper works such as admissions, transcribing doctor’s order, answering phone calls, booking appointment, follow up calls, test appointment, faxing, filling requisitions, etc.) in a fast paced environment. I have worked as Nursing Assistant in NICU that added to my skills both working on the desk and floor. I possess a willingness to learn and catch on very quick with the new systems and ideas.
