Elder Care in Beamsville, Ontario

I'm an
Individual
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed helping and taking care of others; and this passion has lead me to a career as a ‘Health Care Support Worker’. Today, I dream of taking my experience and talents across the Atlantic Ocean to Canada, and help people stay in safely and comfortably in their homes or in supported living arrangements. As a first step in attaining my Canadian Work Visa, I am seeking an employer to sponsor my application with a full-time employment offer. This requires an employment contract and small fee on behalf of the employer, but will pay in dividends for the hard work and expertise you will receive in return. With over 6 years’ experience caring for patients with debilitating diseases, mobility issues, and mental health challenges, I am confident I hold the personal and specialized health support expertise, and friendly and compassionate personality, Canadian families are looking for in the supportive care of their loved ones. Currently, as a Health Care Support Worker with National Health Service in London, United Kingdom, I travel to homes of patients and help with daily personal care tasks, household chores, and provide basic health care. Supporting nurses and other personal care supporters, I assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and offer companionship and care. Each day, I travel to 8-10 homes, taking time to converse, tend to their needs, and ensure they are in good health and spirits. With a demanding time schedule, I deliver compassion, skill in assessing a patient’s vital signs and well-being, as well as precise time management skills; not rushing through visits and providing individualized sincere attention. In my previous role, I offered private personal care to a patient with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and mild dementia for over three and a half years. As her private personal caregiver, I was involved in continued evolution of her individualized care plan as her symptoms advanced and mobility decreased. I used sitting and standing hoists and other equipment necessary to keep the patient comfortable and allow her to partake in daily activities. Reporting to the family and health care professionals, I updated on patient daily well-being, discussed new or current concerns, and offered improved care recommendations. During this time, I cultivated a close relationship with not only the patient, but the family. With the care plan constantly changing and evolving, I adapted quickly new support needs, continually learning new skills. This experience paired with my academic achievements and specialized training helps me to continue to excel in the personal care support sector. I would be happy to forward my resume which further outlines my experience, achievements, and qualifications. As a first step in attaining my Canadian Work Visa, I am seeking an employer to sponsor my application with a full-time employment offer. This requires an employment contract and small fee on behalf of the employer, but will pay in dividends for the hard work and expertise you will receive in return. As a leading organization in the personal care support field, I would love an opportunity to quickly chat with you about opportunities within this sector in Canada. I'm flexible in relocating to the following areas Toronto, Ontario, British Columbia, Vancouver, Nova Soctia, Halifax to name a few. Unfortunately I have not learnt how to drive so public transportation is a must, although learning to drive is on my bucket list of things I must learn to do. I look forward to discussing with you how my experience and desire to move to Canada has prepared me for this exciting opportunity. Contactmeonjedm82atymaildotcom zerofour...
