As an occupational therapist, I'm seeking to enhance the quality of life of my clients. With an extensive 25 year background in home health and senior care, I have a deep understanding and ability to anticipate client's needs. Not only am I very skilled to efficiently and safely provide assistance with activities of daily living, I have a holistic view of wellbeing and provide highly individualized care. I have great insight in supporting, modifying and facilitating meaningful activities to create exceptional moments of joy and purpose. I'm skilled in communication and guidance of seniors with dementia, having had many hours of training and am highly experienced in using different strategies to enhance clients' engagement and diffuse challenging behavior. Services I offer: assistance with activities of daily living; full meal preparation using fresh, healthy ingredients; shopping; transportation; advocate/companion to medical appointments; medication administration; companion to clients with dementia/Alzheimer's; assisting in exercise/walking routines; facilitating recreational activities. I'm available Wednesday through Sunday with a 4 hour minimum.
