As a mature woman myself (ahem) as well as working with the elderly, I know the need and importance of keeping my independence and sense of integrity with as much dignity as possible. There is something about helping the aged that I enjoy and I believe it brings out the best in me. Whether it is chatting over coffee, putting together a puzzle, going for a walk, running errands and keeping appointments, preparing meals, reminders of medications, light housekeeping or laundry or help with mobility, grooming or hygiene. Caring for the safety of and listenening to the wisdom of an older generation is very rewarding. I am a friendly, down to earth, happy, energetic woman with a sense of humour for even the sadder times to help brighten the day of a well deserved senior.
