Elder Care in San Antonio, Texas

Hello, My name is Ardena and I am seeking a client who could benefit from massage therapy in addition to professional caregiving and companionship. I have been a certified Home Care Aide of almost a decade, and a Licensed Massage Therapist in Washington State for nearly 3 years. I will be moving to San Antonio later this month, I am available beginning August 29th. My license transfer for massage therapy will be completed by the end of September meaning I can legally practice massage therapy in Texas. I am planning to have a part time mobile massage business. Caregiving activities I am able to do: Errands, cooking, cleaning, bathing, medication management, companionship, personal care Massage modalities I practice: Thai, Swedish, Acupressure, Deep Tissue, Thai Yoga, Cupping, Hot Stone Caregiving activities I am unable to do: Manual lifting of more than 50 lbs, feeding tube, Bariatric clients More about me: I began my journey caregiving on my 18th birthday, and proceeded to work with a variety of clients, young and old. At 23 I graduated from Massage School, and I have also earned my Associate’s in Arts Degree, with an emphasis in Business and Psychology. During my respective higher education pursuits, I worked as an Administrative Assistant and a model in addition to caregiving. I have worked at 2 different spas and did mobile massage here in Washington. I have always maintained caregiving this entire time, even if it was just a few hours a week.
