My education, skills, and professional experience along with 10 plus years of volunteer in the Social Services field has allowed me to gain a great understanding of working within human services. I have a good understanding of community resources, excellent interpersonal communication skills, time management, organizational skills, along with the ability to work well under pressure. I am an active individual. I have completed the Social Service Worker program at Niagara College, and have a true passion for working in the human Services field. Currently as an employer at Community Living Welland, I have gained valuable professional experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. This has allowed me to have an understanding of he issues that individuals face on a daily basis, and how to assist them or overcome the barriers in a positive way. I feel that my ability to relate and to be empathetic and compassionate to individual needs.
