I am 49 years old and have over 10 years experience in healthcare. I am an RN, and my true "calling" in life is taking care of our seniors. My last job was living with and taking care of a 90 year old woman with severe Alzheimer's disease. She was also unable to walk during the last 8 months I was with her, requiring transfers to chairs, toilet, and bed. I enjoy getting to know my patients by taking care of more than their healthcare needs, including meal preparation, laundry, grooming, and simple companionship. If care includes "end of life" care, I would be truly honored to provide that type of care for your loved one. As an RN, I could be there for any possible healthcare crisis. As a Navy veteran, I have self discipline and a great work ethic. As a mother, I have the patience for even the most trying situations.
