Elder Care in Ste-Marguerite, Quebec

I have just finished the most important job of my life. Cared for my dad - 96 years old! I travelled 2 and a half hours to his place, sometimes stayed over night, it was wonderful, I had not spend this much time with him since I was a child. I enjoyed cooking for him, doing some housework, listening to stories that I had never heard before. I got to know him as we were sharing opinions on anything and everything. he enjoyed my company and it was enriching for both of us, besides bringing us closer together, it most certainly ......... he was a very lonely man, had two wives and both died. My mom died about 40years ago, and his second wife about 15 years ago. I myself had lost my husband 10 years ago so I was very able to understand his bitterness. So I dedicated a lot of my time to him. not only was it a beneficial win-win situation, I enjoyed it very, very much. He passed away two days before Christmas 2016. I also do some volunteer work at seinor homes, and other places. I am 63 years old, and am looking to spend some time keeping good company playing games, doing puzzles, taking a walk, listening to your stories, listening to music, or even enjoying the silence between us.
