Elder Care in Frisco City, Alabama

I am a single mother of 2 beautiful and active daughters. I cared for my elderly grandparents up until their passing. I was there for their every need whether it was shopping, cooking, cleaning and even after the were bedridden. I enjoyed being their lifeline and providing them with a better quality of life at home as they were not placed in an assisted living facility nor nursing home. I do not have any type of schooling per say just what I experienced in real life. I loved every minute of caring for them. It eventually reached a point were home health was required to get involved but I was there thru every minute of that as well. I just feel as tho I have endured the pain and suffering and their want and determination to continue to do things on their own with proper supervision. It was a comforting feeling at the end knowing they had someone to fall back on. This has driven me to want to do for others that may not have a support system. I will be that support system. I have a huge heart and determination to make everyone happy. My grandmother lived with Alzhimers for approximately 9 years and I was there for 6 of those years. This is an unfair disease and takes a special person to help the cope and I do have those coping mechanisms.
