Elder Care in Sissonville, West Virginia

I am a 28 year old Army veteran and mother of 3. I have 10 years of experience working in a variety of positions in the medical field. I was a combat medic in the Army. Training was EMT equivalent. After my discharge, I returned home and completed Medical Assistant classes. I worked in an emergency room for a few months, then decided to do in home care instead. Due to complications beyond my control, my certification expired. I have about 5 years experience doing in home care. In 2016 i completed the CNA classes and passed my state exams. I worked in a assisted living/rehabilitation center for 10 months. I love people. I love talking with them and listening to their stories and each person I care for becomes part of my family. I love making someone feel good and smile. I ensure each one knows that they are loved beyond measure and they matter to me. I treat each resident/patient I care for like my own good relative, because I believe that's how it should be. Everyone deserves to be clean and treated with respect. I try to give them back their dignity and encourage as much self help as possible. I try to provide quality of life. Age is a number, and I don't think that getting older should be a reason to not enjoy as much of each day as possible.
