Nice to meet you! My name is Samantha. I am interviewing for a senior care provider position in Rochester, Minnesota and surrounding areas. I prefer to work full-time but part-time hours may be possible. I have personal transportation. I'm a licensed, certified occupational therapy assistant. Prior to passing my boards, I was a certified nursing assistant and passed the training for medication administration for unlicensed personnel. I have experience working in nursing homes (about 4 years), providing in home care to seniors (6 years), and working in an adult foster care (1 year) settings. I am knowledgeable and have experience with feeding, meal prep, dressing, hygiene/bathing, range of motion, environmental modification, assistive technology and various disease processes. I enjoy occupational therapy because it's all about being creative to be able to help people regain/retain the ability to do the activities they want to do.
