Hello, working families! I am a retired professional Graphic Designer who is seeking part-time work in caregiving. I am an active, reliable, compassionate and engaging individual who communicates easily and enjoys socializing with all ages. I have 10 years of caregiving experience: I relocated from Las Vegas to Yuma 12 years ago to care for my elderly parents and in doing so, found a new passion in caregiving. I understand that aging parents thrive with companionship and deserve respect and patience while maintaining whatever independence in performing tasks they can still safely do. I am skilled in organizing and distributing medications, food prepping and cooking and can assist with restricted and safe exercise if requested. I can also help with running errands, performing household chores (light housekeeping, laundry, etc.), sharing craft projects, playing board games, and reading for those whose eyesight is failing. I am available for 1 - 4 hours daily and can also provide respite care if you need a nap or a date night!
