Elder Care in Winter Springs, Florida

Hello, I am a loving, personable senior (69) who has lots to offer your loved one. A former teacher, I love interacting with others. I find that people my age (and older) have lots of accumulated wisdom...and funny stories to tell. I enjoy gabbing, but I also am very compassionate, organized and reliable when it comes to following healthcare orders. I recently helped tend to my mother who passed away when she was 99. While caregiving for her, I made sure she was actively engaged and mentally stimulated. She loved to play cards (with me and sometimes with others) and continued to help with a few chores such as folding clothes and putting out her clothes for the next day. Because of her illness, she was required to take strong medications that needed to be strictly monitored. I kept the medicine out of her reach as she was prone to self-medicate. I also provided nourishing food...even though she was not a good eater. I would also provide her with religious books and prayer support. In short, I looked after her as a whole individual with social/psychological and spiritual needs. If you could use me for 4-6 hours a day, I'll be happy to meet with you and your loved one for an interview.
