I have been working with elderly people for 20 years. I am looking for a personal care position. I have a great respect for my clients. It is important that they are comfortable and their confidentiality is respected. I am a great listener and am very patient. I have experience working with people with Alzheimer’s, dementia, bipolar, depression, brain injury, congestive heart failure, Parkinson’s, and other ailments. My responsibilities have been assisting with walking, dressing, bed baths, sponge baths, showering, peri care, foot care, assist with nebulizers, stoma care, hoyer lift transfers, administering medications, blood testing, monitoring oxygen levels, feeding, giving enemas, catheter care, meal prep, monitoring intake and output, vitals, assist in and out of bed, hospice and end of life care.
