Hi I’m Erik. I currently provide the highest level of personal support for Community Living Society in North Van. I’ll be moving to West Kelowna on Feb1 and looking for full time employment. I’m a very physically active 45 year old Caucasian, I am passionate about cuisine and outdoor fitness. I’m clean, neat and professional. I live in the Sundance area. I have a connection with a great local pharmacy. I’ve worked with special needs kids for more than 10 years and have been supporting geriatrics for the past 2. I currently support 4 extremely highest need, non-verbal geriatrics who had been institutionalized. My current duties include: - driving clients around for errands - shopping, meal planning - cooking (I have worked in fine dining) - administering medication - personal care (dressing, showering, bathroom, wound dressing, shaving, etc) - charting / documentation - home care (cleaning, chores, laundry, etc) - music therapy, I adore music! - providing exercise tailored to individual - facilitating social interactions - overnight monitoring Mainly, empowering individuals to live full meaningful lives with dignity and respect within their communities. I passionately advocate for my people, I fight for the underdog.
