Elder Care in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

I have been in the personal care industry for over 15 years. I have an extensive knowledge on medical terminology as I have my medical administration certificate. I am very familiar and comfortable with dressing on wounds, and/or post-surgical care. I am very familiar with "Halo care" as I have been trained by the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Center in Halifax. I was trained to clean, maintain, unfasten the clips of the Halo vest and cleaning the pin sights. I had to take care of my mother for nine months since she broke her neck and had to wear one. I also was taught by them an extensive list on physical therapy for the spinal cord and cervical spine. As well as siatic nerve decompression. I was shown as well proper stretching techniques for the elderly. Helping people is what i love to do! I love to be the person that can make someone else comfortable. Also I enjoy the peace òf mind that i can give to families. Knowing that your loved one is in there own home feeling content and they're feeling safe because they're in a familiar environment, I know that this makes all the difference in the world. I dont like to see anyone hurting and I will do anything in my power to help that person out. Also I do have my license and a brand new vehicle and I am fully insured with fully comprehensive insurance I know all of HRM and am very confident driving around and taking people to appointments if need be. I am extremely loyal I am always laughing when I'm not laughing I'm smiling. most of the people I have worked with say that my energy is infectious and my laughter and positivity is contagious. I always say laughter is the best medicine!
