Elder Care in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

I am a 53 year old retiree from a major phone cmpy, who was a dedicated worker, dedicated mother to my now 25 year old daughter and dedicated friend to my elderly neighbors. For 2 years I was caregiver to my father in-law who suffered with dementia and liver cancer. Our beloved passed away in Feb of this year. I prepared his meals, administered his medicines. Monitored his blood pressure, oxygen level, weight, and maintain oxygen machine. I assisted him with baths, getting dressed for the day and at bedtime, shaving, nail clipping and pedicure. I took him to his doctors appts. We had great conversations, spiritual devotion and prayer. Taking care of him was not a obligation but a honor. Most of my life my very best friends has been 80 plus years, a blessing to know and be around, so full of wisdom, history and no pretense.
