Hi, I'm Misty. I am a mature lady with more than 10 years experience caring for Seniors and the incapacitated. Caring for and attending to the needs of others started when my Mom had a very serious surgery when I was 14. Upon her release from the Hospital I was so afraid of her returning that I assumed the role of her "nurse" during her recovery at home. I would make her meals, administer her medications, help her with bathing and personal hygiene, change bedding and just make her comfortable. It was at that time I realized how much I enjoyed helping others. I also assisted my Grandfather by taking him to Doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and other duties specific to his needs. I enjoy spending time with my clients to become familiar with their likes and dislikes. What foods do they enjoy? Do they have special dietary needs? Are they morning people or night owls? What are their hobbies/interests? How can I help make them more comfortable? My services do vary in order to accommodate each person's individual needs.
