Elder Care in Toronto, Ontario

I am a registered nurse but I did not practice my profession. My experience in giving care to elder started when I was in my grade school. I watched my grandfather in the hospital during weekends. He had been in and out in the hospital. He was diabetic. Last 2007 my father was diagnosed to have laryngeal cancer so his vocal cords were removed. Right after his operation I assisted my mom in feeding him through tube(NGT), cleaned his tube which was used for his breathing that was attached to his throat. The tubes were only temporary. But he can no longer talk. He tends to be irritable if we cannot understand him. We were so patient with him because we understand his situation. I may not have practice my profession but I can still give excellent care to my client. Eventhough I'm from the Philippines i join this website hoping i can find an employer who is going to sponsor me for at least 2 years.
