Hello my name is Jacqueline. I'm an elder care provider living in Bloomington, IL. I am patient and empathetic. I personally spent a month in a nursing home after a terrible car accident. My pelvis was shattered in multiple places and I had lost all my independance. That's why I understand just how difficult it can be to accept help. After the doctor had cleared me to walk, I worked for a year as a receptionist at a physical therapy practice. I learned a ton about fall prevention and rehabilitation! I loved the friendships I formed with our older clients and listening to their stories. During this time, I also lived with my step grandmother who was suffering from dementia.
