Hello, my name is Sam, I am a university and practical nurse graduate. I completed my nursing consolidation on a Palliative and Long Term Care floor, and have done multiple placements in LTC including Geriatric Mental Health. Therefore I am very confident in dressing changes, lifts and transitions, and in practicing and empowering people to follow physiotherapy or occupational therapy routines. I follow the golden rule of 'treat others the way that you wish to be treated,' which is why I think it's so important to treat everyone with respect, dignity, and empathy.
